UPSTREAM, SCOREN Cantus and Summerbreak
Hello Everyone,
We want to inform you about three events that are coming up this summer.
UPSTREAM
As said, this event will take place on the 11th of june. The location will be the Muziekgieterij.
SCOREN Cantus
A week later, on the 17th of june, the SCOREN Cantus will take place. This is an event solely for the sports associations of Maastricht. A cantus is a big, merry event which involves a lot of singing and drinking. The event will take place at dn Hiemel. It costs €16,- to participate. Let us know before the 15th if you want to join.
SummerBreak
Lastly, we want to tell you about SummerBreak. It's an initiative to have a big party at the end of the academic year. This will be comparable to the MECC parties during the INKOM. AS soon as we have more info, we'll let you know.

Trainings continue
Great news everyone. The moving to the new sportshall has finished. You've seen it being build next to our old building and now it's time to utilize it. Tonight we can train as usual. Make sure to be there on time to make sure that you can find the dressingrooms and the hall on time.

Ragweek starting this week
Upcoming wednesday the 4th of March marks the start of this year's Ragweek; a week-long happening during which several activities take place to raise money for charity. Kinran has also planned to host one of such events.
Our event is called "Battle of the samurais" (https://www.facebook.com/events/801164453287446) a combination of three challenges, during which you can show your skills. The best contestant will be awarded a special Kinran prize. If you want to join, visit the Joie (Adress: achter het vleeshuis 17) between 12:00 and 17:00.
Furthermore, several members are going to the Ragweek kick-off party (https://www.facebook.com/events/590887391055095) later on the same day. This party starts at 22:00 and will continue on till 05:00. Ticketsales are going rapid, as more than 75% of the tickets are already sold. Make sure that if you want to join to get one. You can do this by mailing to Ragweek@maastrichtuniversity.nl and mentioning the kick-off party.

Faculty Introductions
Both today (monday) and thursday we'll have a stand at the faculty introductions at the SBE, specifically at the African Corner. If you have any questions about Kinran you can come find us; we'll try to answer them all. Of course you can just come to our trainings; also on mondays and thursdays.
